FAQ

Why does onboarding have a cost?

Our onboarding isn’t just setup—it’s a full site audit and optimization process. We review your code, plugins, and performance to fix issues before hosting begins. This ensures your site runs smoothly and meets our reliability standards. It’s part of our white-glove approach and reflects the hands-on work we do to set every client up for success.

Our onboarding fee starts at $199 and is charged upfront. The onboarding fee may be higher if your website requires significant work. If your website is flagged as requiring significant work, we will contact you to discuss the cost and timeline. You have the option to reject the additional costs and we'll refund your onboarding fee.

How long does onboarding take?

The audit process generally takes 1 - 3 business days. Once the audit is complete, we will present the scope of work that needs to be done. We will not do any work until you've approved it. Once approved, the work will then be completed within 1 - 2 business days.

The full process can take up to a week or more depending on the complexity of your website and the scope of work that needs to be done.

Can I expedite the onboarding process?

Yes, we can expedite the onboarding process for an additional fee. The additional fee is $299 and is charged upfront. The expedited process will take 1 - 3 business days for both the audit and the work (if needed). This timeline assumes that that your website does not require significant work.

The onboarding and expedition fee are not refundable once we start the expedition process.

What work will you do during onboarding?

During onboarding, we’ll review your site’s codebase and plugins. Before hosting begins, we'll fix any performance issues, remove malware, and more.

My website is already optimized and has no issues. Do I still need to pay for onboarding?

Yes, we still need to review your site's codebase and plugins to ensure it meets our reliability standards. If no work is needed, we will provide a partial refund of your onboarding fee.

I have multiple websites. Do I need to pay for onboarding for each one?

No, depending on the number, complexity, and standardization of your websites, we may be able to offer a discount for multiple websites.

Are you fully dashboardless? How can I manage my website?

While our concierge services makes it so that you never need to utilize a dashboard, we do still offer a dashboard for those who prefer to have control over their website. You have full ownership and admin access — we simply manage the details for you.

Do I lose control if I use your concierge service?

No. You can participate as much or as little as you like.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, you can cancel anytime.

My website was denied. Can I get a refund?

Your website will be denied if it does not meet our standards. To bring it up to our standards, we will provide a scope of work to fix the issues. This scope of work is included in your onboarding fee, unless significantly more work is needed. If you reject the scope of work, we will partially refund your onboarding fee.

I changed my mind. Can I get a refund?

Our onboarding begins with a full audit of your website. After the audit, we’ll share our findings and recommended fixes for your approval before starting any work.

If you cancel before the audit report is delivered, you’ll receive a full refund.

If you cancel after the report is delivered but before any work begins, a partial refund may be issued.

Once work has been approved, the onboarding fee is non-refundable.
